BRETWALDA


An ANGLO-SAXON title, meaning Ruler of Britain, borne as early as AD 477 by Aella of Sussex. King Egbert, who accepted the submission of the Northumbrians at Dore in AD 827, was the eighth King to hold the title.

What do we do

Once a candidate is approved and joins the lodge he will go through a number of ceremonies

Where do we meet

We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month at Dore Masonic Hall in the South of Sheffield.
